Work directly with people with disabilities, assisting them with personal care, activities, driving, and group employment, and/or life enrichment projects as needed.

Provide overall program service coordination for people with disabilities in Prevocational and Life Enrichment settings.

I remember being really nervous about the job duties after my first interview and thinking I probably was not going to take the job. I am so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone because this is my favorite job I have had by far.

The culture of Rise is different than other companies I have worked for. Because working at Rise means interacting with those we serve as well as the community, each day is different. As the activity coordinator, I get to choose to plan things that everyone enjoys, which creates a more pleasant work environment. No two days are ever the same here so it is hard to get bored.

This committee meets monthly and supports an inclusive culture at Rise by giving input on policies, coordinating training, leading events, and encouraging engagement around diversity, equity, and inclusion. All team members are welcome to join.

This new employee resource group focuses on supporting neurodiverse team members and fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace for everyone. The group plans to host trainings, create resources, and support self-advocacy. All team members are welcome to join.
