Mental Health Housing Support Services
What is Mental Health Housing Support?
This program assists people who have a serious mental illness in making a smooth transition into living more independently in their community through housing and support services.
These services include regular meetings with Rise staff, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing; based on eligibility, and assistance maintaining integration in the community.
Support services provided as part of this program:
- Landlord dispute resolution and advocacy
- Assistance developing skills to find long-term affordable housing
- Training for skills like budgeting, hygiene, shopping, meal planning, and crisis resolution
