Brandon Klug recently celebrated his fifth year working at Rise. He is currently serving as a Direct Service Professional (DSP), floating between several Rise sites. Brandon was nominated for Champion of the Month by his coworkers, who are inspired by his dedication and commitment to the Rise mission. Recently, Brandon has been an invaluable asset to the Rise team by offering to help cover sites that have experienced understaffing. The coworker that nominated Brandon for Champion of the Month says, “Brandon interacts with everyone in a respectful manner. He recognizes and appreciates differences in others and is always willing to work through concerns that come up.” 

Brandon’s motivation comes from his work supporting others. He says that they always make him laugh which has the power to raise his spirits on bad days. He is proud of the people he serves and enjoys watching them grow over time, especially when they learn to advocate for themselves at work and have new and exciting experiences.   

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, especially his five nieces and nephews. He is also an avid softball player (when he’s not recovering from a knee injury), and loves watching a good soccer game on TV.
