Celebrate Rise! Fundraising Gala goes VIRTUAL, Monday, October 26, 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rise has changed its annual Celebrate Rise Fundraising Gala to a VIRTUAL ONLINE event this year. Rise friends, family, and supporters are invited to tune in online on Monday, October 26, for this special event. This year's theme is "A Night Amongst the Stars." You can register for FREE here.
This year has been unlike any before in our nearly 50 years of serving Minnesota and Western Wisconsin communities. Money raised at the gala will support Rise's wide range of employment, housing supports, and life enrichment programs.
Like many businesses and organizations, Rise has suffered tremendous financial losses because of the pandemic, and if we are to provide stability for the future, we need to raise funds right now!
Your generous support is especially critical now more than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic for many reasons.
Foremost, many of the people we serve are feeling isolated and truly miss going to work or participating in their normal program activities. Rise team members are committed to developing creative, effective services to assist people connect with their peers and Rise team members in ways that are healthy and safe.
In addition, since many people have lost their jobs or had their hours worked and income reduced, Rise's employment and job placement support services are more important than ever before.
So please take a few minutes to register for our virtual gala on October 26, and consider how you can contribute and support Rise and the people we serve. It will be a fun 28-minute online program at which time we will also introduce you to our 2020 Rise’ing Stars and Champions of the Mission.
You can view the 2019 Celebrate Rise Gala short video production here. Pawel Williams, a student at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, produced it. Special thanks to him for his great volunteer work!
