Community-Based Training and Employment
People We Serve
This program is for people ages 18 and over with brain injuries, developmental or intellectual disabilities, or mental health concerns who can benefit from employment and related support services. This program also serves people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing and employs staff who are fluent in American Sign Language.
The program provides employment as a member of a Rise team in an integrated setting consistent with the choices and goals of the person supported. CBTE is not tied to a specific location, but it is also offered through many of our locations. Rise partners with community businesses to provide paid work opportunities for people that meet business needs.
