Meet Emmy Moran

December 2024 Champion of the Month, Emmy Moran joined rise about a year and half ago. With experience previously as a retirement home activity coordinator, she was a natural fit for her direct support professional (DSP) role at our Crystal team.

“Since my very first day working at Rise, I loved everything about being here,” shares Emmy. She finds value building genuine connections and empowering people to achieve their goals, big or small. “Being part of a team that fosters inclusion and respect is incredibly fulfilling and inspires me every day.”

Emmy’s Impact

Emmy is known for her objective and understanding approach with both the people she supports and her coworkers. Additionally, one colleague shares that Emmy uses “flexible thinking and adaptability, which has shown on many occasions giving suggestions for improvements to the workplace.”

Another coworker mentions that “Emmy has developed good relationships with the staff and the people served. We have one person who always wants to work with Emmy. She is fun to be around.”

Not only has Emmy made an impression on the people and staff at Rise, but she has found opportunities for growth for herself. “I love building relationships with everyone, celebrating individual strengths, and witnessing growth and progress,” she shares. “I also love being able to learn from everyone’s unique perspectives and resilience.”

Outside of work, you can find Emmy reading, building Legos, enjoying nature walks, and quality time spent with friends and family.
