Positions We Hire
Support adults with disabilities taking part in fun activities like art and music therapy, cooking classes, YMCA events, and community outings. These jobs are similar to other care jobs, such as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Personal Care Assistant.
Assist small groups of adults at their jobs in the community. You'll learn how to teach each task, write reports, and keep track of progress. You'll also oversee daily activities at the job sites to make sure everything runs smoothly. Driving is required for this position.
Coach people to find and keep jobs while building goal-setting and job searching skills. You’ll build strong connections with employers and people we serve by networking and showcasing the strengths of Rise and the people we support, creating successful job paths for people.

Who is considered a New American?
- Minnesota residents born in a county other than the United States.
- Children of Minnesota residents born in a country other than the United States, including children born in the US.
Who is a good fit?
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs):
- Great fit if you enjoy helping others and can adapt to unpredictable situations.
- Driving required for SET DSPs.
- Driving not required for Level 1 Life Enrichment DSPs
Employment Consultants:
- People with backgrounds in education, administration, or sales often thrive.
- Reliable access to a car required (about 60% of work is in the community).

Most positions are full-time and benefits-eligible. You’ll usually work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.—with evenings, weekends, and major holidays off.

You’ll be working in direct support roles, similar to jobs like Home Health Aide, CNA, or PCA. The big difference? You’ll be supporting people with disabilities at a Rise location or with one of our employer partners, no not in a person's home or a hospital.
