Social and creative activities, personal assistance, and peer support to people with brain injuries and physical disabilities who want non-vocational services outside of their home. Medication administration, exercise, and therapies (occupational, physical, speech, and counseling) are available on-site when ordered by a physician and appropriate funding is available. May be offered in conjunction with other Rise services such as Brain Injury Connections (vocational).

Pathways-MFIP and Welfare-to-Work

Service Areas: Welfare-to-Work / MFIP

Job placement and support services for MFIP recipients who are unemployed and are having a difficult time re-entering the job market. Services include career planning, job development and training, and ongoing supported employment, plus service linkages with child care, affordable housing, education services, substance abuse providers, and transportation providers. Staff are bilingual and culturally aware.

Service Areas: Welfare-to-Work / MFIP

Job assessment and career planning for MFIP recipients, primarily members of minority groups, refugees, and immigrants. Supported employment to help improve and expand work skills to successfully obtain better jobs and earn higher wages. Services include career planning, job development and training, and ongoing supported employment, plus service linkages with child care, affordable housing, education services, substance abuse providers, and transportation providers.
